YRPG Charity Society with the tenet of "helping the poor and needy and caring social disadvantaged groups" was formally founded in Kou'an Town, Gaogang District. On August 26, in the charity conference of YRPG, the first 11 economically difficult students who are and admitted to key universities, 20 households in Kou'an Town that are stuck in housing difficulty, individuals and units involved in the country road construction project of Xuzhuang Village, Kou'an Town received the total donation of 280,000 Yuan.
YRPG Charity Society is wholly funded by YRPG who contributes 500,000 Yuan every year. YRPG carries out poverty relief activities in Kou'an Town in the methods of financial aid, public welfare and development as rewards for hometown people who have long supported the development of YRPG. Apart from the foregoing donees, YRPG has practiced the following poverty relief projects: funding 100 children of extremely difficult families to complete the education in the stage of compulsory education; funding 20 households in difficulty caused by accidents; funding 100 households for water improvement; funding 10 households for agricultural reconstruction; and encouraging private enterprises to employ poor people. All the charity projects are open to the society supervision.
YRPG shares worries with the government and helps people out. The chivalrousdeedof rewarding the hometown is highly praised by local people. Holding the donation of 110,000 Yuan for building the road, Secretary of Village Branch Sun Jun excitedly said: "Villagers used to complain of being covered by dusts in sunny days and muds in rainy days. Now we have the fund for building a road. Villagers will remember forever the grace of YRPG workers." (By Li Jiang)
