Jiang Yaoping, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Commerce Surveyed YRPG

Jiang Yaoping, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Commerce, principals of the torch center of Ministry of Science and Technology, the Export-Import Bank of China and the Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of Jiangsu Province as well as representatives from 11 bio-pharmaceutical bases and delicate chemical industry bases of other provinces and cities, who were present in the conversazione regarding the construction of national innovation base for trade flourishing with science and technology at Taizhou arrived at YRPG on June 24 to carry out the survey. Zhu Min, Director of the Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of Jiangsu Province and other municipal leaders including Zhang Lei, Yao Jianhua, Yang Feng, He Rong, Lu Peimin and Xu Jingren accompanied the survey. 
 
The delegation of Jiang Yaoping, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Commerce, visited the industrial garden of YRPG with great vigor and got a detailed understanding of the enterprise’s development in the latest years. They fully recognized the enterprise’s outstanding achievements relying on quality and innovations in science and technology in recent years. Jiang Yaoping hoped YRPG could consider the benefit of human health and contribution to the social harmony as its mission and responsibility, continue to greatly develop the ethical pharmaceutical culture and devote more efforts to developing more products with independent intellectual property right so as to unceasingly improve the enterprise’s influence and competitiveness, and rank in the top pharmaceutical enterprises in the worldwide area.    
 
It was understood that Taizhou was listed as one of 18 “National Innovation Bases for Trade Flourishing with Science and Technology” as initially approved by the state in 2006. At present, the pharmaceutical innovation base of Taizhou was divided into “one area and five parks”, that is, Taizhou Pharmaceutical High-and-New Science and Technology Industrial Park Area, YRPG, Zhongdan, Jiangshan, Suzhong and Jichuan Pharmaceutical Parks; besides, over 170 enterprises were located within the base with 48 patent authorizations as conferred in succession and 108 pharmaceutical R&D achievements as declared by Taizhou Pharmaceutical High-and-New Science and Technology Industrial Park Area in succession. In 2007, enterprises within the base realized the output value at current price of 18.2 billion Yuan with the profit tax up to 2.1 billion Yuanand the self-managed export of 200 million USD.
