On August 5, hosted by Chinese Medical Association and Shanghai Medical Association and undertaken by YRPG, China Medical Science and Technology Award Achievement Spread Report Meeting was held in Shanghai Hotel. The meeting theme was "Honor and Mission". Han Xiaoming, Deputy Secretary of Chinese Medical Association, presided over the meeting. Liu Jun, Deputy Chairman of Chinese Medical Association and Chairman of Shanghai Medical Association, and Xu Jingren attended the meeting and gave a speech. Directors, directors of science and technology departments and doctors from all AAA hospitals in Shanghai attended the meeting.

 

Shanghai is the core area with developed medical science and one of the cities with most famous medical scientists and medical R&D institutions. In recent years, Shanghai's research subjects are increasing; Shanghai's medical level, medical science advantages and clinical characteristics are improving. Shanghai has more medical achievements, and wins China Medical Science and Technology Award and other national awards. From 2001 to now, there are a total of 91 achievements in Shanghai that won China Medical Science and Technology Award, including 9 first prizes, 32 second prizes and 50 third prizes. Shanghai ranks first in China.

 

Liu Jun gave a speech at the meeting. He hoped to help China Medical Science and Technology Award spread activities and promote effective communication and exchange of Shanghai medical science field to create conditions for more talents and medical achievements. Liu Jun spoke highly of YRPG's contribution to the development and progress of ethnic medicine of Chinese medicine. He encouraged enterprises to strengthen innovative R&D and invent more drugs for people. He said Shanghai Medical Association was willing to strengthen communication and cooperation with enterprises to create a more beautiful tomorrow.

 

At the meeting, Professor Chen Shengdi from Ruijin Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine gave a report named Study on Cytokineβ-Amyloid Protein and Alzheimer's Disease Pathogenesis; Professor Li Zhaoshen from Shanghai Changhai Hospital gave a report named A Decade Study on Upper Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Clinical Application and Professor Qin Jiaqi from Renji Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine gave a report named A Series of Studies on Improving the Survival of Patients with Peritoneal Dialysis. The attendees enriched their medical science knowledge and broaden their horizon from these reports.

 

It is reported that the spread activities started in Beijing on May 17. Shanghai is the third station for the activities after Beijing and Nanjing. After this, the activities will be held in Shannxi, Hubei and Sichuan etc.
