On August 30, when freshmen began to enter colleges, YRPG Charity Society showed their love to students. Ten high-score students and sixteen poor students from Gaogang District, Taizhou received YRPG Charity Society’s awards and subsidies. So they could enter colleges and fulfill their dreams.

 

At the donation ceremony held in Kou'an, Liu Zhendong, the CPC Labor Committee Secretary of Kou'an Sub-district, spoke highly of YRPG’s charity. He said that YRPG spent more than 1,000,000 Yuan each year helping the poor and developing public services. All these had helped people in Taizhou to accelerate their pace towards prosperity. YRPG Charity Society has been established for 6 years. During this period, they have donated a total of over RMB Ten million yuan. This year, the donation reached 1,600,000 Yuan. Liu Zhendong hoped the freshmen could keep YRPG’s kindness in mind, study hard to become talented persons soon and make contributions to their nation, their homeland and the people.

 

Ji Hongquan, YRPG’s CPC Committee Deputy Secretary, presided over the ceremony. Qi Zhengxin, Executive Vice President of YRPG Charity Society, introduced relevant donation work. Xu Qinsheng, Vice Minister of Publicity Department of District Committee, Director of District Radio and Television Sub-branch and Vice President of YRPG Charity Society, read out the name list of the students who had received YRPG's awards and subsidies.

 

YRPG Charity Society has been attaching great importance to the offering of donation and awards to freshmen since its establishment in 2003. In 2006, YRPG helped 20 poor freshmen. In 2007, the rewarded and subsidized students spread over all Gaogang District: there were up to 40 freshmen getting YRPG's donations.
