September was the national "Quality Month". With the theme of "advocating 'Five Loves' and regulating quality management", YRPG kicked off its 20th "Quality Month". At the kickoff meeting on September 2, President Xu Jingren expressed his requirements: make great efforts to carry forward "Five Loves" spirits (love Party, love country, love people, love enterprises and love employees), further regulate quality management and improve YRPG's quality management level through collective and target-driven efforts.

 

Managers from YRPG and its subsidiaries attended the meeting. During the event, YRPG reviewed the 19th "Quality Month" in this June, and paid more attention to checking and rectifying the following three aspects: finding sub-standard systems, operation and management; finding weak procedures in verification and re-verification, improving verification management of documents and systems and re-checking the use of raw materials to ensure these materials meet official requirements. Besides, departments and workshops of the headquarters and subsidiaries held labor and technologies competitions. At the end of September, YRPG would review achievements of this "Quality Month", hold a summary meeting and commend excellent units and individuals.

 

Two previous "Quality Month" activities were themed "regulating quality management and establishing long-term mechanism". During this national "Quality Month", YRPG asked all its managers to set a good example and fulfill their responsibilities in quality management. Through "Five Loves" education, YRPG hoped managers and employees could embrace positive values; through allocating specified responsibilities to departments, strengthening skill training and extending technology reform, YRPG hopes to form a good competition atmosphere and improve quality management.
