During the past thirty years in controlling quality, the enterprise has achieved a lot of harvest. Recently, on the 30 years’ anniversary meeting of the national quality control teams activities held by China Association for Quality and other units, YRPG won special honor in quality again, being entitled “Excellent Enterprise Special Award of 30 Years’ Anniversary of National Quality Control Teams Activities” by Jointly China Association for Quality, All China Federation of Trade Unions, the Youth League Central Committee, China Association for Science and Technology and All China Women’s Federation. Xu Jingren, the Chairman of the Board won at the same time “Personal Contribution Award of 30 Years’ Anniversary of National Quality Control Teams Activities”.

 

Wang Zhongyu, Standing Vice President of the 10th NPC, Bai Lichen, Vice President of NPC and relevant leaders from the sponsor units including State Administration for Quality Supervision and Inspection and Quarantine, All China Federation of Trade Unions, the Youth League Central Committee, China Association for Science and Technology, All China Women’s Federation and China Association for Quality and representatives of quality control teams from all regions and industries of China as well as people from the quality fields from Hong Kong Special Administration Zone and Taiwan Chinese Society for Quality, nearly 1000 people attended the meeting. 

 

Surrounding the topics, the meeting concluded the successful experiences and methods of all provinces, industrial quality associations and enterprises in promoting the activities of QC teams in the past 30 years, studied the problems existing and the countermeasures; awarded excellent promoting teams, enterprises and individuals with outstanding contributions in the 30 Years’ Anniversary of National Quality Control Teams Activities as well as 2008 national excellent QC teams, quality trusted groups, excellent enterprises in national QC teams activities, outstanding leaders and excellent facilitators. “Excellent Enterprise Special Award” is another important award issued by China Association for Quality apart from “National Quality Award”, specially set up for enterprises and public institutions, to award the units that have stuck to carrying out QC teams activities during the 30 years and with high popularity, wide range of activities and prominent achievements. 43 units in China won this honor, in which only 2 are from the pharmaceutical industry.  

 

QC team is a mass quality control activity, being an outcome of experience from employees’ participation in democratic management of enterprises combined with modernized scientific management methods. YRPG has included the activities of QC team as an important content to be implemented in production line, technology line and quality line. In every workshop and every department, there is QC team established. These QC teams use quality control knowledge and methods, surrounding such topics as improving all employees’ quality awareness, improving products’ quality, management, enterprise’s economic profits and achieving satisfaction from the consumers, have actively carried out tackling activities, and have created economic profits over 50 million Yuan for the enterprise. On the QC Achievements Release Conference held every year by China Quality Association for Pharmaceuticals, YRPG has won the top in total number of first prizes for 4 years successively.
