It has been another harvesting autumn. On November 18, the municipal state tax system held solemnly “New Taizhou, New State Tax and New Leap” state tax income exceeding 10 billion Yuan reports meeting in Petrel Hotel of YRPG. The tax administrations and the enterprise happily gathered to share the success and the happiness.

 

Zhou Suming, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the State Administration of Taxation of Jiangsu Province, Yao Jianhua, Mayor of Taizhou, supervisory leaders from Taizhou Discipline Committee, four cities and three districts and Pharmaceutical Park and Agricultural Development Park, leaders from 16 related institutions and departments as well as responsible persons of 31 important taxpaying enterprises including Xu Jingren, Chairman of Board of YRPG attended the reports meeting. 

 

By November 18, 2008, the state tax income of Taizhou for the first time broken through 10 billion Yuan and reached 10.6 billion Yuan, having increased income 2.3 billion Yuan compared to the same period last year, and achieved a historical breakthrough. Taizhou has become the 7th prefecture-level city in the province that has over 10 billion Yuan in state tax payment, which has indicated that the economic and social development and tax source capacity of the city has arrived to a new level. 

 

As a big taxpayer of the state tax of the city, in 2006, YRPG paid state tax as much as RMB 480 million, and in 2007 540 million Yuan, which is expected to be 600 Yuan million this year, being the top in all industrial enterprises of the city. In the “top 500 taxpayers of Chinese enterprise corporations” of 2007, YRPG ranked No. 230. The total amount of tax paid by YRPG has been listed No. 1 in pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprises for 3 years successively. The continuous development and expansion has made great contributions to creating tax revenues, increasing employment, providing fortune and stabilizing the society, etc. 

 

In the reporting speech, Li Zhaogui, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Taizhou Administration of State Taxation reviewed that the state tax income of Taizhou during the 12 years since the establishment of the city has exceeded 10 billion Yuan today from 1.1 billion Yuan something then, having achieved a gratifying change of fast growth. Now there are 57280 taxpayers under the administration of state taxation all over the city, having increased 20453 compared to when the city was established. In particular, the net increase of state taxpayers under the administration has exceeded 2000 every year, reflecting the enthusiasm of establishing business of all the society, on the basis of which, a batch of enterprises are brave in enterprising and are developing vigorously. Li Zhaogui, in his speech, highly evaluated the outstanding contributions made by YRPG in paying taxes legally and rewarding the society with self-awareness. 

 

Zhou Suming and Yao Jianhua made greeting speeches respectively on behalf of the provincial Administration for State Taxation and the People’s Government of Taizhou City, requesting the state tax departments to conduct in serving economy and facilitating development, seriously implement all the tax preferential policies, grasp well the preparation work of VAT transformation reform, sufficiently exert the advantages of the stat tax departments in policy and information resources, help the enterprises reduce burdens, accelerate the enterprises to improve their technologies, carry out industrial structure adjustment and change economic growth measures, try to achieve more brilliance for the state tax undertaking of Taizhou and make more contributions to constructing a more beautiful Taizhou. 

 

Xu Jingren read the enterprise development manifesto. He said that with the deepening of economic globalization, facing unprecedented severe challenges and development opportunities, the enterprise should learn how to “dance with wolves”, accelerate the development and become bigger and stronger; to be based on reality to confront challenges; to go with time to achieve innovative development; and operate with integrity and pay taxes according to laws. He also advocated the friends from the enterprises circle of the city to work together, seek for development jointly, seriously implement the enterprises’ responsibilities, actively promote independent innovation and make efforts in building harmonious taxable enterprises so as to make more contributions for good and fast development of the economy in Taizhou. 

 

At the historical moment that the state tax income exceeded RMB10 billion, Zhou Suming, Yao Jianhua and Li Zhaogui opened jointly the starting ball. The “online tax service hall” elaborately created by Taizhou Administration for State Taxation for the taxpayers of the whole city was formally launched at the same time.
